About Legends The Barbershop
Legends The Barbershop is a long-running shop on North Fairfax Avenue, in the Fairfax District stretch between Beverly and Melrose that has been a magnet for skaters, streetwear shoppers and the neighborhood's regulars for years.
The shop dates itself to 1999 and is led by Goose The Barber, who works alongside a bench that has included Darin, China, Reg the Master Barber, Mike Mizzel and Akeim. Legends describes its floor as open to everybody, and the chairs handle everything from taper fades to beard work. Goose also sells his own line of grooming products out of the shop.
Weekday hours run late morning to evening, Saturdays start earlier, and Sundays are by appointment only.
