BraidHouse is a braiding and locs salon at 6522 Laurel Canyon Boulevard in North Hollywood, in the Valley.
The address and phone are shared with Beauty Beez, the Black-owned beauty store founded by Brittney Ogike, who launched it online in July 2019 and opened the storefront a month later after seeing how many separate trips a Black woman could need to finish one beauty run. That 3,300-square-foot flagship added a braiding lounge, with box braids and crochet styles running roughly twenty-five to three hundred and thirty-five dollars.
BraidHouse itself now runs as a membership space: braiders, locticians and stylists rent luxury stations, keep whichever booking platform they already use, and pay no commission on their work.
