The Year was 1995 At John McDonogh High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. I wanted to learn how to cut hair, so I picked up cosmetology. I was one of two guys in the class with 18 Girls. It was there I met one of the coolest Women in the world. Her name is Charlotte Beaunka. She was so passionate about all of her work in Cosmetology. Her Uniform was the brightest of all the whites who had to wear it. She was one of thee best in that class. Yes its a few more women who was also in that class that moved on to do big things in the hair Business. But Beaunka, had a dream that Freddy Krueger, in his prime could not enter. Her goals was to open multiple Hair Salons and sell the best weave that money can buy. With all of her ideas through trial and error, she never gave up. Her attitude has always inspire me to never give up. She talked about how hard it was getting all the pieces in play. When it wasn’t right, She started All Over again. It wasn’t about what you lost. It was about if you’re alive and love your craft, do it again from scratch. That attitude created The Hair Junkie Studio. She has one in Terrytown, La and one In Slidell, La. But that’s not all. She is also the owner of Hair Junkie Purple Lable Hair. She turned her business into a 6 figure salary.

Living In Atlanta, Georgia, Her worked has attracted superstars from the area and around the United States. Her clientele is very unique. They rather pay for quality vs quantity.
