A family-owned soul food restaurant on Blake Street in Charleston’s East Side, open for more than 40 years. It is known for crab rice, shrimp and grits, fried fish and breakfast plates served in a plain counter-style room, and is now run by Sani Huger, daughter of owner L.J. Huger.
