Buddy Bolden \u2014 the cornetist history calls the first man of jazz \u2014 lived at 2309 First Street in Central City and played loud enough, they said, to be heard across the river. No recording of him survives; only the influence. Viognier is aromatic, unmistakable, gone before you can pin it down.<\/p>\n
